2014 Audi Q7 3.0 TDI – Baseline Inspection & Service
I recently booked my Audi Q7 in with Melbourne Euro for a baseline inspection/service after purchasing the vehicle and wanting peace of mind mechanically.
I made an online booking with detailed notes outlining exactly what I wanted checked. Later that afternoon, Samantha from reception contacted me to arrange a suitable booking time, which was greatly appreciated.
Upon arrival, Samantha greeted me and explained that all of my requested inspection points had already been written on the workshop whiteboard for the mechanics to review. It was reassuring to know the team had taken the time to properly note everything before even touching the vehicle. She also clearly explained the inspection and service process, which immediately made me feel comfortable leaving the car in their hands.
Later that afternoon, I called reception for an update on the progress of the vehicle. Rhea (apologies if I have misspelled your name) advised me the technicians were completing their final checks and the car should be ready within the hour. She also mentioned she had already completed most of the inspection notes and mechanical feedback, pending the final checks. She was more than happy to discuss everything over the phone, although I chose to come in personally to go through the report in detail.
At pickup, Rhea had everything organised and ready to go. She took the time to thoroughly explain the inspection findings, what each item meant, and what would realistically need attention moving forward. I especially appreciated the honesty and transparency — there was no pressure or scare tactics. The issues identified were explained clearly as minor items that could either wait until the next service or be addressed sooner as preventative maintenance. I decided to book the vehicle back in the following week to stay ahead of any future problems.
Overall, I’m extremely happy with both the service and the experience provided by Melbourne Euro. The pricing was very fair, the communication was excellent, and the entire team was friendly, professional, and transparent throughout the process.

I can’t believe these guys fixed my Audi A5 overheating issue so easily. 3 other workshops wasted my money and time for nothing. These guys are so skilled and pro in Audi cars. I highly recommend Klods for his skills and business acumen. Definitely recommend to anyone that has problems others can’t fix. Will always come back here!!!
My daughter had auto transmission issues on her Audi Quattro A4 B8 and also sunroof not working. The team at Melbourne Euro were very professional, efficient and courteous. Explained full diagnostic procedure and full process through to rectification of auto transmission and sunroof. Highly recommend Melbourne Euro and would not hesitate to visit again. Has given the car a new lease of life !
So I took my Audi Q7 4.2 V8 TT diesel there for a service and stage 1 ECU remap, but also discovered my injector seals needed replacing as well…..So let’s start with the girls on reception..they were both awesome, great to deal with on the phone, friendly, helpful, and even managed to laugh at my crappy dad jokes!!
Now for the Boss Man…..he had his crew running like a well oiled machine, and still found time to speak with me personally about any issues that were encountered,
and provided recommendations for further work going forward.
Finally, the techs…these guys were friendly, knowledgeable and well organised, plus they worked well past beer O’clock to ensure my vehicle was completed for me when I needed it back!!
My only complaint is that the Boss man wouldn’t give me his Lambo as a loaner car, even though I promised I wouldn’t drop any fully-sick skids in it…oh well, maybe next time!!
