Born from admiration for German engineering.
Melbourne Euro was established from an admiration for German engineering, inspired particularly by Audi engineering and the timeless design of the Porsche 911. The aim was to provide exceptional, specialised service and performance capability for remarkable European vehicles.
We're more than just a mechanic workshop. Melbourne Euro is a community built on a shared passion for engineering, bringing together vehicle owners, professional mechanics, automotive engineers, OEM parts suppliers, enthusiasts, wreckers and specialist technical talent.
Mechanic services are dominated by legacy dealerships, institutions that often stood unchallenged as the primary option for vehicle owners. However, their perceived arrogance, high costs, and lack of genuine care for customers and their cars gave rise to widespread dissatisfaction. The automotive service industry is primed for a change, and the birth of Melbourne Euro is the embodiment of this cultural shift.
Driving Cultural Change in the Mechanic Services Industry
One of our owners is a long standing VAG enthusiast who has spent more than 15 years authoring technical material, holds several engineering and IT qualifications, he has spent many years owning and building from scratch many different rare and iconic vehicles.
The partners were looking for a new challenge in their field of engineering, and a strong passion to drive a "cultural change" in the way services are provided on European cars, they started Melbourne Euro in 2021 in Campbellfield.
In a world where change is a constant, the Melbourne Euro story is one of a pioneering spirit, taking on the giants of the industry and succeeding in crafting a fresh approach to automotive servicing. The company's inception was rooted not just in servicing cars but in driving a cultural change in the way honest mechanic services were being provided.

Our Campbellfield facility is equipped with current professional diagnostic technology, specialist automotive programming equipment and powerful repair and test equipment. Our team continues to learn and update its methods as vehicle technology evolves.
Technology supports the diagnosis. It does not replace the technician. When complexity becomes the bottleneck, we can draw on global technical information, engineering knowledge, parts suppliers and specialist resources.

We deliberately don't try to do everything. There is a reason we don't focus on services such as tyres: excellent specialists already do that well. We invest in areas where knowledge, equipment and problem solving create a real difference for European vehicle owners.
ENGINE REPAIRS & REBUILDS
From small European engines through to high performance applications, including cylinder head reconditioning, valve and seat work, internal diagnosis and custom component solutions.
TRANSMISSIONS & MECHATRONICS
Internal transmission repair, gear systems, valve bodies, mechatronics, control electronics, programming, coding and adaptations.
ADVANCED DIAGNOSTICS
Complex fault finding using live data, electrical testing, mechanical testing, technical documentation and component level investigation.
PROGRAMMING & CODING
ECU and TCU reading and writing, module coding and commissioning, legitimate key and immobiliser programming, EEPROM and flash work.
PERFORMANCE TUNING
A large calibration database with a particular focus on Stage 1 ECU and TCU optimisation for power, torque and response.
DIESEL TESTING
In house testing of compatible diesel injectors, high pressure pumps, pressure sensors and control valves, plus specialist injector removal capability.
Customer education is part of the service.
Our commitment extends beyond fixing the vehicle. We explain what we find so customers can make informed decisions about maintenance, repairs and long term care.
Where replacement parts are required, we use genuine or high quality OEM components where appropriate. We combine the mechanical repair with the coding, programming, calibration or adaptation the vehicle may require.
Great service also begins the moment you walk through our doors. Friendly staff, a comfortable customer lounge and attention to detail are part of making the workshop experience as pleasant and transparent as possible.
